I have been in private practice since 1982, offering psychotherapy, evaluation, and consultation services to adults, adolescents, and older children as well as couples and family therapy. The full range of services I offer includes the following:

I conduct consultations and evaluations for people with substance use disorders. I also offer my services as a joint consultant and expert witness. I offer treatment services for adults, adolescents, and families.

I have worked in numerous and diverse settings. I have treated clients in community mental health  and outpatient substance abuse/mental health centers. I served as the clinical director of the Rocky Mountain Federal Region Employee Assistance Program for 36 Federal Agencies.

I have been a director-level employee at the US West's Health Services and Employee Assistance Program and the project leader for developing the Drug and Alcohol Policy Protocol for 14 states. I have held RFPs or contracts for providing mental health and substance abuse services to the adult male inmate populations at the Department of Corrections at the Colorado Correctional Center in Golden, CO and the Columbine Women's Facility at the Fort Logan complex. I have held contracts providing supervision, training, and consultation to mental health and substance abuse professionals at Lookout Mountain and other Division of Youth Services sites.

I have been a field instructor for the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work and an alumni faculty at the D.U. Substance Abuse Certification Program. I also served as an Adjunct Professor/Faculty at the University of Denver Family Therapy Training Program (DFI), providing one-way window group supervision and individual supervision to graduate and postgraduate students for family and couples therapy cases.
